DirectLink Courier primarily specializes in same-day transportation of a variety of products from various industries. Whether it is a need for a single shipment across town, or several hundred shipments that need same day service throughout our entire service area of North Carolina, South Carolina and southern Virginia, DirectLink can meet your needs. The majority of our multiple shippers utilize custom tailored routing where we combine on-route services with custom scheduled routes to meet the time critical needs of pickup and delivery with special care.
On-Route Service We currently provide service to practically all areas within our territory. The chances are great that we will have a current schedule that will meet your needs. Service can be provided on-route by reliable, existing routes that operate on a scheduled basis each day throughout our service area. Although on-route, each location served is carefully reviewed for service requirements in determining the daily schedule for pickup and/or delivery.
Custom Routed Dedicated Service This service is offered in conjunction with on-route service to meet the specific needs of the shipper in areas where on-route service is not currently available or will not meet a specific need. Often the shipments may be delivered during the night hours, early morning, or may simply need a special sequence in which deliveries must be made. Regardless, the management of DirectLink will develop a cost effective dedicated service that will meet your needs.
DirectLink Courier Line Haul Service Division offers dedicated line haul service for southeastern distribution companies needing service into the Carolinas. Line Haul hubs are strategically located in the Raleigh-Durham area and Greer, South Carolina. Both hubs provide exclusive service to all eleven (11) DirectLink Terminal locations in North and South Carolina. Our Line Haul Division has allowed DirectLink to become an all-inclusive single source provider to various shippers throughout the Southeast for Last Mile Delivery. The primary focus of this division is to enhance our ability to move time sensitive freight in all directions throughout North and South Carolina, Georgia, and Southern Virginia.
The Greer facility functions as a central dispatch center and provides twenty-four (24) hour customer service. Our Line Haul management team utilizes a state of the art real time surveillance system of all night operations. All vehicles are equipped with an on-board computer monitoring system and GPS Tracking. Our fleet consists of 24 footers with lift gates and 53 footers.
